OUR STORY
Built by a lash artist. Run by someone who learned to respect the craft.
Le Mat started in a lash studio in Omsk, Russia — not a boardroom, not a factory. The founder is a working lash artist who spent years at the tile before deciding to build the brand she wished existed: premium lashes that professionals could actually afford to use every day.
She and her husband traveled to Vietnam to source and oversee production personally. Every fiber, every tray, every strip was tested by hands that understood what lash artists need — because she was one. No outsourced quality control, no factory defaults accepted. If a tray didn’t meet her standard, it didn’t ship.
Le Mat launched in Russia in 2020. There was no marketing budget, no influencer campaign. Artists tried it, noticed the difference — the softness, the fan behavior, the curl consistency tray to tray — and told other artists. That word of mouth carried Le Mat to over 30 countries, 700+ distribution partners, and recognition as one of the leading professional lash brands in Asia.
That’s the brand. Here’s how it got to Berlin.
My name is Zaman. I’m the person behind Le Mat EU — the official European operation. I started this as a student who saw a business opportunity. I’ll be honest about that. But what changed me was watching lash artists work.
Watching you spend hours in the cow pose, placing every single lash, checking symmetry, adjusting fans — making sure each client leaves feeling beautiful — gave me a level of respect for your craft that I didn’t expect. What started as logistics and margins became something I actually care about: making sure the tools you depend on are available, consistent, and fairly priced, shipped from Berlin so you’re never waiting weeks for stock.
I handle every order personally. I answer every WhatsApp message. When something goes wrong, I fix it — not a support team, not a chatbot. The EU operation is small on purpose. It means I know who you are when you reorder, I remember what you work with, and I care whether it arrived on time.
Le Mat exists because a lash artist decided professionals deserved better. Le Mat EU exists because I believe she was right.
